The Island

One of the main peculiarities of the largest Tuscan island is the extraordinary diversity of the places that meet. The beaches of Elba are really many and all different from each other: long golden sand beaches, very small pebble coves, black sand beaches, others of very white pebbles, as well as smooth granite cliffs. The beaches that combine extraordinary panoramas and a crystal clear sea have nothing to envy to the most famous Caribbean landscapes. The cards we have created (referring only to the main beaches, because listing each bay would be almost impossible), we will help you choose where to spend unforgettable days in the sun to tan and cool off by swimming in the transparent water. The depths of most beaches slope rapidly, with the exception of those of Biodola, Marina di Campo, Lacona, Procchio and Fetovaia, which still touches the dove for about 30-40 meters from the coast.

On the Island of Elba all the beaches are free or in any case have a large part of the free beach. In the main beaches there are areas served by equipped bathing establishments, where in addition to the rental of cabins, deckchairs and parasols it is possible to practice many of the most famous water sports. There are also in some beaches the blue spots where you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds to use on the free beach.

We have also selected for you the main sandy beaches of Elba, suitable for those with children. There are also dog beaches on the island, specially equipped for your pets to always have them with you.
Although not openly allowed, naturism on the Island of Elba is well tolerated. We highlight six locations on the Elbe coast, where it has been practiced for years.
